Duties: Responsible for the review and management of inventory availability within  Distribution Centers and the communication of any service issues that impact our Sales Representatives.  This position works closely with the Branch (Distribution Center) Order Fulfillment and Merchandise Control teams to manage the inventory position of 6,500 SKU's, communicate product direction, and advise of any service impacts.  Will manage 5-7m pallets at 3rd party warehouse, maintain inventory management systems and develop location unload schedules. Will communicate and work directly with Materials Management Planners and Analysts.


Qualifications: 

  • Supply Chain Operations Experience in the areas of Inventory Control, Deployment, or Planning. 
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain/Inventory applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
  • APICS certification a plus. 
  • Bachelors Degree preferably in Operations Management, Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
  • Must be detail oriented and yet comprehend which issues to prioritize and which details to monitor.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace in a rapidly changing business environment.
  • Must set a priority on customer satisfaction and a sense of urgency.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to effectively function within diversified teams.
  • Experience with Microsoft Work, Excel, and Access.

Duties: This individual will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with transportation services and local delivery companies. This will be accomplished through on-site interaction with carriers and ongoing cost studies and surveys. Additional duties will include scheduling of truck departure times; auditing and approving of the freight bill process; investigating, inspecting and initiating claims on lost, short or damaged shipments; interaction with branch order processing departments; and creating and maintaining all administrative files and controls. Supervisory duties including coaching, mentoring and training as well as handling all employee relations issues for the Transportation staff.  This position will require up to 25% travel to locations within our service area.


Qualifications: 

  • 1-5 years experience in transportation management preferred. (Internship experience can apply.)
  • 1-3 years experience in a supervisory role.  (Internship experience can apply).
  • Small package outbound logistics experience preferred.
  • Bachelors Degree required preferably in business, logistics or a technical field (Masters degree is a plus)

Duties: Supports the Line Balance Supervisor in the analysis and statistical tracking of operational and picking efficiencies. Capable of slotting the shipping floor in the absence of the Line Balance Supervisor. Works to optimize picking efficiencies and productivity campaign over campaign, year over year.  Physically slots and monitors product placement and performance across the Shipping floor to MAS, OSR, Manual Assembly, Literature Dispensing, Off Line Bulk, LPS, etc.   Utilizes resources such as the operations bulletin, campaign brochure,, etc. to develop campaign picking strategy.  Strong understanding of the Warehouse Management System (WMOS) and Warehouse Control System (WCS).  Performs all Line Balance Campaign changeover planning and clerical functions, including preparation and distribution of all changeover paperwork. Assists in the direction of the Weights and Measures Clerk and the Manager Shipment Area Leader. Responsible for the accurate, timely and efficient processing of Representative and Customer orders.  Achieves key process and operational cost improvements in accordance with established company policies and procedures. Fosters Team environment.
 

Qualifications: 

  • Three to four years knowledge of order flow. 
  • Proficient with functions in the Mainframe, P.C. and Manhattan (WMS) and Knapp (WCS) Systems. 
  • Bachelor of Science/Arts degree required; Concentration in a Technical Discipline (Industrial Engineering, Logistics or Operations Management) desired.
  • Performs work requiring a high degree of accuracy. 
  • Detailed planning, analytical skills and customer service priority. 
  • Proficient in operating personal computers and calculator.  Strong Excel, Access and Crystal Reports experience.
